We’re looking for a freelance Front-end Developer who are passionate about creating great user experiences for the web. You will assist our creative team (remote or on-location) on coming projects including experiences for desktop and mobile, campaign and company websites, web and mobile applications. This will be a contract position.
You can:
- Create "pixel perfect" experiences through code
- Enhance designs with fluid, elegant animation and interactivity
- Collaborate with creatives and use the latest technology to push what's possible
- Estimate your own timelines, meet those deadlines, and articulate challenges before they become problems
- If remote, respond promptly to communication during agreed-upon working hours
- Constantly seek inspiration, and share that inspiration with others
- Work hard and love what you do
You have:
- An online portfolio of designed and developed projects
- An expert level of knowledge in Javascript, jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5
- A familiarity with frameworks such as Bootstrap
- An experience with CSS preprocessors (ideally SASS), build systems such as Gulp, Grunt and other Node-based tools.
- A good understanding of git workflows.
- A knowledge of relevant server-side technologies, including PHP and mySQL
- An Experience with customizing and integrating WordPress (Drupal is a plus)
- A Passion for design, creativity and technology
You have as bonus point:
- Knowledge of other web programming languages (Coldfusion) or frameworks (NodeJS, Ruby on Rails)
- CSS3 Animation skills and experience from SASS mixin frameworks like Compass and Bourbon
- Experience in Angular, React or Backbone
- Experience in three.js or other 3D/VR javascript frameworks
- Command line knowledge (Linux, OS X or BSD)
